About CPS
The Cornwall Police Service is responsible for maintaining public safety and law enforcement operations throughout Cornwall and the surrounding region within Ottawa Region Roleplay. Focused on community policing, professionalism, and realistic municipal law enforcement, CPS officers respond to a variety of calls ranging from traffic complaints and disturbances to major criminal incidents and emergency situations.
Operating within a close-knit city environment, the Cornwall Police Service emphasizes proactive patrols, community interaction, and teamwork. Officers regularly engage in downtown patrol operations, traffic enforcement along major roadways, criminal investigations, and collaborative responses with Fire and EMS services to provide immersive and engaging roleplay experiences.
The Cornwall Police Service offers a welcoming yet professional environment where members can develop their policing skills, participate in meaningful scenarios, and contribute to realistic law enforcement roleplay throughout Eastern Ontario.
Recruitment Requirements
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Working microphone required
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully
• Basic understanding of realistic roleplay standards
• Must be active within the community
• Willingness to complete department training and evaluations
• Ability to work collaboratively with Fire, EMS, and neighbouring agencies
• No recent serious disciplinary history within the community
• Must maintain professionalism both in and out of roleplay
• Must follow all server and department policies at all times
