About Fire/Ems
Fire & EMS Services within Ottawa Region Roleplay combines multiple emergency response agencies into one unified department serving the communities of Ottawa, Cornwall, and the surrounding SDG region. This department includes municipal fire services, paramedic operations, rescue units, and specialized emergency response teams working together to provide realistic and immersive emergency service roleplay throughout Eastern Ontario.
Members respond to a wide variety of incidents including structure fires, motor vehicle collisions, medical emergencies, hazardous conditions, technical rescues, and large-scale mutual aid responses. Whether operating an Ottawa Fire apparatus downtown, responding with Cornwall Fire crews, or handling medical calls with Ottawa or SDG Paramedic Services, teamwork and professionalism remain at the core of every response.
Fire & EMS Services offers an exciting and dynamic environment for members who enjoy fast-paced scenarios, realistic emergency operations, and strong inter-department cooperation. From routine medical calls to major multi-agency incidents, our members help create some of the most immersive roleplay experiences across the server.
Recruitment Requirements
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Working microphone required
• Ability to communicate professionally during high-pressure situations
• Basic understanding of realistic roleplay standards
• Must be active within the community
• Willingness to complete department training and evaluations
• Ability to work collaboratively with police and other emergency services
• No recent serious disciplinary history within the community
• Must maintain professionalism both in and out of roleplay
• Must follow all server and department policies at all times
