Ottawa Police
Municipal policing and community safety operations across Ottawa and surrounding areas.
About OPS
The Ottawa Police Service is the primary municipal law enforcement agency serving the city of Ottawa within Ottawa Region Roleplay. Focused on professionalism, community engagement, and realistic urban policing, OPS officers respond to a wide range of calls including violent crimes, traffic enforcement, priority incidents, community complaints, and large-scale emergency situations throughout the capital region.
OPS provides immersive city-based policing roleplay with opportunities in patrol operations, traffic services, investigations, tactical response, and community policing initiatives. Officers are expected to maintain professionalism and strong communication skills while working closely with Fire, EMS, and surrounding law enforcement agencies to keep the region safe.
Whether responding to high-risk calls downtown, conducting proactive patrols throughout neighbourhoods, or assisting during major server-wide events, the Ottawa Police Service plays a vital role in creating engaging and realistic roleplay experiences for the community.
